Layers upon layers of impossibly crisp pastry — our Lobster Tail Pastry is a handmade Italian-American classic, known in Naples as Sfogliatella and beloved on the East Coast for its seashell shape that opens like a lobster’s tail when baked. Each one is crafted by hand with hundreds of whisper-thin layers of dough and butter, folded and stretched to create that signature shatteringly crisp shell. Inside, you’ll find a light, creamy filling of our proprietary filling, and a touch of vanilla and citrus zest, baked until golden and finished with a dusting of confectioners’ sugar. At Bloomstead Bakehouse, every tail is made fresh on the farm. Pickup Details: This item is made fresh to order. At checkout, please note whether you’ll pick up Friday (10 a.m.–6 p.m.) or Saturday (10 a.m.–4 p.m.).We do not open earlier or stay open later. Orders not picked up by 4 p.m. Saturday will be discarded. No refunds are available for missed pickups.
