Quartz Vein in Jasper Necklace Medallion - Cascading Waterfall

Fantastic cross section of a quartz vein set in a mixed rock matrix.  Resembles a cascading waterfall down a rock wall. Cut from a specimen collected in Nevada, USA.  This medallion was cut into a beautiful domed teardrop shape, with a groove carefully notched into the side.  Sterling silver wire frames the medallion and forms a large loop for the chain.
