Sponsor a Horse: Spirit

Spirit wins a lots of our beauty contests around here and as you can tell this gorgeous mare is a crowd favorite. Spirit is a 18-year-old ex barrel racer. She came to us in 2016 when her owner decided to retire her from her barrel career. Normally an ex-racer may not have the personality for a therapy horse but Spirit has proven that this is her calling.  Spirit is the ideal therapy horse, she has a sweet, motherly temperament and demonstrates such a caring patience with our students. She will stand completely still while children brush her and has such a sensitivity and softness towards individuals struggling with physical disabilities.
