Due to popular request, we've been expanding our line of belt buckles. So here's a smaller sized buckle based on those worn in the Renaissance and Baroque periods. We designed it based on several historic examples. It measures 2.25 x 2.0 inches and is sized best for leather belts that are about 0.7 inches wide. This particular buckle is perfect for costumes, re-enactments, Renaissance Festivals, or just everyday wear.DETAILS- Smaller sized for thinner belts.- Measures about 1.4 x 1.2 inches (3.5 x 3.0 cm).- Intended for belts that are 0.7 inches inches wide.- Handmade.- Made of Antiqued Brass.- Not as strong as steel, but strong enough, and will last many years.- Resists rust and tarnishing.- Inspired by actual historic belt buckles.- Suitable for a wide variety of Medieval and Renaissance attire.
