Celtic Trinity Knot Style Pendant - Knotted Triangle Pattern

We designed this variation on the classic Trinity Knot to make for a striking and interesting piece of jewelry. The triangular knot form of the Triquetra or Trinity Knot was very popular throughout history, and was eventually adopted by many cultures and religions. The Celts believed the most important things came in threes: the three domains (earth, sea, and sky), the three elements, and the three stages of life. Wiccans and Pagans consider the Trinity Knot to be a symbol of the forces of nature, and the three-fold nature of Goddess as mother, maiden, and crone. Christians believe it to be representative of the Holy Trinity of Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. But overall, the Triquetra or Trinity Knot often symbolizes eternal love, longevity, and the continuous cycle of life.
