Smaller Size Bronze Viking Thor's Hammer Mjolnir Pendant with Owl "Eyes of Odin" Design
The Viking word Mjölnir means "Crusher", and was the name of the magical hammer wielded by Thor, the son of Odin. If you're looking for a historically accurate design, this is one of the best to go with. We designed and created this particular pendant based on actual historical finds from Viking hordes or ancient burial sites. So this design is something that was once worn by Scandinavian people many centuries ago. The bird head on the top of the pendant looks like an owl, but it's believed to have been chosen to represent the eyes of Odin which are ever watchful and vigilant. This is appropriate because Norse mythology also tells of the two ravens of Odin, Hugin and Munin, which travel the worlds and report all they see back to their master. The head of the hammer also has Infinity Knot designs which may reference the power and eternal qualities of Odin and the After-Life.DETAIL LIST- Inspired by actual Viking jewelry found in dig sites in Sweden.- Features an owl head atop the hammer
