Yggdrasil "Tree of Life" Pendant with 24 Inch Stainless Steel Chain

Many ancient cultures had mythologies and legends surrounding a Tree of Life. Celtic mythology portrayed a tree of life connecting heaven and the earth. Viking mythology told stories of Yggdrasil, the great tree whose branches connected the nine worlds and continued on into the heavens. Christianity also reference a Tree of Life in the Old Testament book of Genesis. We designed this pendant with more of a Norse background in mind by giving the tree a general shape similar to Mjolnir, the magical hammer wielded by Thor. Because the tree has this general shape or silhouette, it evokes the strength and power of the Norse gods while still representing nature and Yggdrasil. This pendant has a nice hefty weight to it, as it is double-sided and made entirely of highly polished stainless steel.
