JACOB TITUS first paid Wheeling, West Virginia, a visit on account of a friend who sent him a poem about the city, intending for a quiet week with a couple of books. He found a beautiful city with a depth to its history and a complexity to its present, with some committed people betting on its future and drinking at The Bridge Tavern. He walked its streets for hours on end, camera in hand. WALKING IN WHEELING is a photographic record of that first encounter and a return trip earlier this year, alongside writing by Jacob, his dear friend Dustin, and a handful of characters from Wheeling past.
