I made this knife from 8670 carbon steel and burlap micarta. Its overall length is 5 1/2 inches. Included with the knife is the pictured sheath which was made by my son Russell. All of my sheaths have a welt which we thin down around the belt holes for comfort. It will fit up to a 1 3/4-inch-wide belt.
