The crown (top) is draped in black vintage lace and was originally a vintage pillbox hat that I attached to the brim. It is hand sewn and one of a kind. It is adorned with an oversize black silk rose and rosebud. An inner grosgrain ribbon headband helps protect it from becoming soiled. It perches atop the head rather than fitting and being pulled down on the forehead. A narrow black headband helps keep it stable on the head.
