Skills Academy Training: Natural Hair 101 (ages 10-17)

Skills Academy is a hair education cohort that trains young people in all areas of the hair care industry.  We are excited to introduce our first state-of-the-art program, Natural Hair Care 101, a four-week certification program that covers various topics including hair care, product knowledge, heat tools, and braiding basics. We also offer instruction in natural hair styling, deluxe silk press, curling and styling, cutting, sew-in, and quick weave basics. The complete kit is included in the program pricing.  Our experienced instructors are dedicated to providing a supportive and hands-on learning environment to help our students gain the skills necessary to pursue a career in the hair industry.  Our program includes: Week 1: The Art Of Haircare (Theory, Product Introduction & Usage, Techniques, Blow Dry and Heating Tools) Week 2: The Art Of Braiding (Braiding Basics and Weave Foundations) Week 3: The Art Of Hair Extensions (Introduction to Sew Ins & Quick weaves, Curling and s
