A jaw dropping "IN-50" coffee table by Isamu Noguchi circa 1950s. The base is authentic, early, and original, with lots of charming wear and patina (proof of its age). The marble, a stunning slab of glamorous, Italian Carrara, is also from the 1950s, though not original to the base. The two components work in serendipitous contrast to each other--the vibrant, flat, white marble with its gray wisps pops against the matte black, sculptural base, creating a beautiful drama.
