Stoneware Butter Dish

Discover the artistry of functional stoneware crafting in our hands-on pottery class! Unleash your creativity as you learn to mold, shape, texturize and glaze your unique butter dish. How it works: This is a step by step instructed Clay Encounter that is intended for ages 13 and up. This price includes the Glaze Encounter which will occur at a later date after the bisque firing process is complete.  During the Clay Encounter you will learn to build a butter dish suitable for one stick of butter (American sized).  You will choose from a textured or smooth design and learn to create unique curves or attach raised designs.  We anticipate this to take approximately one and one half hours. You will be contacted once the bisque firing process is complete and you will be provided a 2 week schedule to return for the Glaze Encounter.  In this step, you will learn to glaze your butter dish with a microwave and dishwasher safe glaze.  Your piece will then be glaze fired and you'll receive a one w
