Our annual Distiller's Cuts are ways to explore the seasonality and complexity of American Single Malt Whiskey. Focusing on old world single malt styling, our Master Distiller & Blender Mark A. Vierthaler built the Summer 2025 release on the backbone of our lightly smoked American single malt, finished in third-use Sauternes casks. We then blended in some of our unsmoked single malt that was aged in used Whiskey Del Bac barrels vs. our usual first-use casks. Finally, we added a splash of a rhum agricole barrel we still had laying around. The end result is light, ethereal with notes of grilled peach fresh off the grill.
