Our Da Hong Pao was picked from wild tea trees in the Wuyi province of China. A truly remarkable Da Hong Pao, this tea is lightly roasted to perfection, carrying butter, chestnut, and toasted coconut notes! A clean floral note lingers in the background through the entire sip, with a touch of oak and white wine. It is incredibly sweet and juicy with a strong cha qi and a nice touch of astringency at the end of the sip.
