About the Artist — Hannah Buechler Through a multitude of processes, my work explores various intentions and themes. A few of which, I emphasize as valuable topics among my purposes for being a creative. I relish in learning new techniques to incorporate into my multimedia work which typically encompasses the idea of experimentation and manipulation of material. I've always been consumed with the notion of being an experimenter. As a biochemist himself, my father’s words, "One of my daughters will be a scientist someday," resonate deeply because I truly feel through the outlet of art, I have succeeded in his expectations. Being someone who is curious of how things are made, how the steps are formulated, and ultimately the processes in which they are achieved, I push to create tactile works that confuse my viewers and arise doubt.
