The Whitaker Leather Curtis Mayfield Style Tribute Guitar Strap is designed to be a faithful shoutout to the classic, “like one Curtis Mayfield used” during his amazing career. My goal was to offer a tribute strap that captured the feel of the original by utilizing my saddle and tack-making background. The original strap, like my version, is based on horse saddle rigging, complete with a rigging ring and the way the ends connect to the ring. However, my version is different in several ways. First, it has an adjustable back piece.
