Roughing Down Cut Spiral
Materials: Natural woods, composites Recommended RPM: 12,000-14,000 (max 18,000) Just as their name implies, these bits are designed for increasing cutting feed rates and decreasing project cut out time in plywood, melamine, mdf, and most engineered products. The down cut spiral design ejects chips away from the router when routing through material. This design also decreases the tendency to lift thin/small work pieces during CNC routing. TOOL SPECS: Solid carbide, down cut, roughing spiral with 3/4" cutting diameter, 3/4" shank, 2" cutting length, and 4" overall length for use in routers with a 3/4" collet. THREE FLUTES: Perfect for cutting wood, wood products, and plastics in high-volume applications where fast feed rates are essential and a fine finish is not required. ROUGHING: Designed to remove most of the material from a cut, preparing the surface for a finishing bit to achieve a smooth, polished result. DOWN CUT SPIRAL: The downwards cutting action is b
