Vintage Tarzan articulating Wetsuit Display Model puppet by Manufacturer: Beuchat International Dimensions:  21" x 10" x 10"1960s - Tarzan Wetsuit Display Model by Manufacturer: Beuchat International, est. 1934 of France. The figure printed with the Beuchat Spearfish Logo and Beuchat, Marseille, France. This wetsuit began selling in 1963 and became a staple of the brand collection as seen with Jacques Cousteau wearing this exact model of wetsuit from the French brand on many of his expeditions. A very rare piece of in-store marketing material, this puppet would have sat in diving stores throughout France to display how the wetsuit would look. This puppet is incredibly rare due to their being a very limited number of retail outlets selling wet suits in France though the 60s and 70s that this puppet would have been made for.
