BIT E61 Shower Screen Overview The BIT E61 shower screen is a precision milled stainless steel shower screen in collaboration with IMS and designed by Sauro Dall’Aglio for his brand of premium espresso machine components Barista Improving Taste.Designed with a significant redistribution and reduction of surface holes, the screen seeks to address the issue of puck degradation that can occur as a result of water forming an aggressive stream in the center. This is often caused by the presence of the shower diffuser screw. By placing a small grouping of holes near the otherwise bald center of the screen, and a wider distribution around the outer edge. The design promotes a more gentle introduction of water into the center of the puck to help preserve integrity and ensure more even extraction while reducing channeling.
