Noble Character
There is nothing so influential to the mind then examples of other people's choices and how those decisions had natural consequences, both of rewards and punishments. When I first started using the tales of the Old and New Testaments in our homeschool, I had no idea how I was instructing our children's conscience to rightly name good, good and evil, evil. I truly believed I was simply telling our children stories.Imagine my surprise when our children had stronger convictions than I had at their age, all because the examples of rewards and punishments instructed their conscience. In culture, full of opinion, preferences, and philosophies that are wrongly naming good, evil and evil, good, moms must choose her curriculum wisely to instruct the conscience of their children so they willingly form their opinions, preferences, and philosophies to align with Scripture.
