LayerLapse - 3D Printing Timelapse Trigger
Check the camera compatibility list. Capture cinematic timelapses of your 3D prints — with no firmware mods or hacks. LayerLapse is a plug-and-play camera trigger for your DSLR or mirrorless camera. It triggers your camera on every layer change of your 3D print using a magnetic sensor attached to the printer, and a small magnet placed on the print head — no direct connection to your printer needed. Just plug it in, attach the magnet to your print head, place the sensor close by near the parked position, and add a few lines of G-code in your slicer. That’s it. Your printer does its job — and LayerLapse captures every layer in buttery-smooth detail. Highlights Works with nearly any 3D printer (just modify some G-code and ensure the sensor can be within reach of the print head safely) Compatible with many DSLR & mirrorless cameras (see GitHub for list of compatible cameras) Adjustable camera delay to eliminate vibration blur with the turn of a dial (0-3 seconds) Compact, custom-desig
