Lavender has been known as a French scent. It was brought to the Provence area by the Romans more than 2000 years ago and because of the favorable climate, caused spontaneous growth and began covering the region. Provence France is forever linked to lavender. It’s the soul of a region where lavender fields range from the Alps to the southwest region near Avignon. Our Lavender collection is inspired by a lovely lavender farm located only minutes from our production facility here in Connecticut. How lucky are we? They have so many varieties of lavender.   The flowering period for lavender starts in mid-June and lasts until the end of August.  And the smell of lavender permeates the area.
