Herb Propagation and Seed Starting Workshop

Date: Saturday March 23, 2024 Cost: $35/person, $60/2 people (discount added at checkout) Time: 1:00pm-4:00pm Location: Wild Aster Farm, Hurdle Mills, NC (address and directions will be sent upon registration) Age Range: Adults, children ages 12yrs and up Passionate about starting your own medicinal herb garden? Not sure where to start? Having trouble deciding what to grow or getting your seeds to germinate? This is the perfect workshop for you!  Geared towards beginner herb gardeners, we will cover propagating herbs from stem cuttings as well as starting herbs from seed.  Participants will have the opportunity to collect and take home cuttings from various herbs and plants on our farm.  Participants will also have the opportunity to start herb seeds using our soil blocking method.  We will go over tips and tricks for getting herb seeds to germinate and basic care and planting instructions for your herb seedlings. This class will be held outside, on our working farm, rain or shine.  P
