Lavender & Geranium Body Balm

The goodness of lavender never ceases to amaze! Known for its antibacterial and antiseptic properties, lavender is a favorite perennial shrub. The volatile oils gives it its signature aromatic fragrance. Lavender aids in healing and restoring sunburned and dry/cracked skin and can help soothe the itch and pain of insect bites. The olive oil and beeswax act as an emollient to help moisturize and protect the skin. Also, the screw on lid makes it easy to toss in your purse and not worry about the lid popping off! All of my infused oils are solar-infused indoors on a warm sunny window sill for at least eight weeks. The jars are covered to keep them out of direct sun light while allowing the warmth of the sun to aid in the steeping process. Although there are quicker ways to infuse oil, I prefer the old ancestral way of just watching and waiting and letting it do it's work! Size: 2oz How to use: Best used on moistened skin.
