Kids Knit Basics

This workshop is for kiddos age 8+ that want to learn/re-learn how to knit! Students will learn how to cast-on and do the knit stitch while they start a small scarf project. Our Wild Hand Manager and teaching artist, Yolanda Booker, has years of experience working with and teaching children of all ages. She is patient, warm, fun, and will meet any kiddo where they are in their learning process.Skills + MaterialsThis is a beginner workshop and no previous experience is needed to participate! Workshop supplies are included in the fee; students will get a new pair of knitting needles (to keep!), a darning needle, and the chance to pick their yarn color for a small scarf project.
