The unique bulb-like wrinkled trunk stores water and the long, thin leaves that grow from the top resemble a ponytail. It's drought tolerant and a slow-grower that can go a couple of weeks without water, depending on its placement in your home. Pony is so cute, you're gonna be tempted to gather up a few leaves and make a satin-bowed pony tail.  General Care Sunlight : Miss Ponytail needs bright light. Watering : Drought-tolerant. Let the soil dry out completely for a few days. Water until it comes out the bottom. Place back on saucer.  Food : Pony enjoys a general houseplant fertilizer diluted to half strength once in the spring and once in the summer. Never apply fertilizer
