The variegation of the Birkin will be stronger with brighter indirect light.  Water : She prefers for you to allow the soil to ALMOST dry out between watering and does not behave well with overwatering. Water until it drains out of the hole and don't let it sit with water in the saucer.   Food : Birkin enjoys a general houseplant fertilizer diluted to half strength once a month during the spring and summer. Never apply fertilizer to dry soil. Always make sure the soil is damp before feeding your plant.
