Green violet leaf and rich, dark iris rhizome bind as the ballast of this posh fragrance. Violet Santal is nonchalant because of the natural beauty of its exquisite components. Sandalwood essential oil comprises 60% of the aromatic ingredients in the blend. The subtle spice in sandalwood is drawn out by an understated oriental base kept on a leash so as not to drown the delicate wood. Cedar, fossilized amber, labdanum, musky roots, wild spices. Each note dances alone and together as Violet Santal undulates through its phases, each turn feeling like a special skin scent. This is the kind of fragrance that can pass as vintage or modern.
