I collected broken black spruce foliage from the hemiboreal primeval forest at my home, where it grows like weeds, and left it in tincture for a year to develop a sweet, jammy, aroma. I then used the old methods of slow evaporation to preserve the delightful top notes, resulting in a thick resinoid. This single note perfum
