Block Printing Class - August

Block Printing Workshop August 3rd 11am-2pm In this one day workshop participants will be guided in designing and cutting a block for printing. We will be printing with fabric ink on tote bags as well as ink on handmade paper. Each participant is encouraged to bring a piece of fabric tee shirt to print on as well. These stamps can also be used on CERAMICS as texture mats!! No experience necessary!! ALL MATERIAL INCLUDED!    We will be using very sharp linocut chisels and students will learn how to use them safely. Participants will get to keep their stamps as well as their paper prints and tote bags. About the instructor...  Jayme Vineyard had a hand carved block printed tee shirt business for over a decade here in Eugene, OR. Her clothes are still available for purchase at Trillium, a hand made and locally owed shop in south Eugene.  We require a full 2 weeks notice of cancellation to receive any refund or exchange.
