CATEDRAL DE MI PADRE MEZCAL JOVEN TOBALA

 Catedral De Mi Padre Mezcal is a California-based brand that was launched by a father-daughter duo: Jeff and Sydney Block. Interestingly, they offer six different expressions from six different mezcaleros. The Tobala is made by Master Mezcalero Celestino, a fourth generation mezcalero. He built a palenque, or mezcal distillery, in the courtyard of his family home. There, he makes some of the best small batch, artisanal mezcal in the region. This mezcal comes from 6-12 year old Tobala agave that is produced in the traditional way with a donkey-pulled limestone tahona.
