As a native New Yorker, the Verrazano Bridge has always been one of my favorite structures, in large part because of how beautiful it is. When I was a little kid, we would take car trips to visit my grandmother in Queens. When we would pass the Verrazano Bridge, I knew that it wouldn't be long until I got to see grandma.
