Mystery Girl Alpaca, Merino & Silk Yarn

Willow Wind Farm almost always uses fiber from our animals for our yarn. We also collect fiber from farm friends in the western US for more commercial milling (hats shirts etc.) purposes. Every now and then while sorting the fiber we come across a blanket that screams YARN rather than these other uses. Our mystery girl is one of those fleeces. Bright. Great structure. Long Staple and FINE. This yarn is a smoky steel grey, but after a closer look you discover there is a hints of black in the background. Bright beautiful color.
