Lastra Red Heart Dish

The clean and simple lines of Lastra are inspired by the wooden slab used for centuries in cheese-making throughout Italy. When fashioned together with twine, the hoop was left with a slight overlap to help maintain the shape of the cheese mold. Maestro molder Stefano Roselli incorporates this detail into the design of Lastra. A dark dusting on the edges of each piece symbolize the ash traditionally used to preserve these cheeses. The Lastra Red Heart dish makes for a charming kitchen accent or gift for your sweetheart.
