Large Diver's Automatic (GSAR Auto)
Designed in Canada and manufactured in Switzerland, Marathon watches are designed to meet some of the toughest MIL-SPEC standards out there. The GSAR (Government Search and Rescue) diver’s watch is made for divers and search and rescue teams who regularly face the toughest of elements. The standard that defined the specs of the GSAR watch was born out of military necessity, but it’s just as useful as a civilian as it is for an active duty member. The watch is a chunky, yet wearable diver with a reliable Sellita SW200 Swiss automatic movement, housed in a durable 316L stainless steel case with a no-nonsense military vibe that values function over form. It’s built to ISO 6425 diver’s standards, which require 300m of water resistance, and a myriad of other high-stress requirements. Measuring in at 41mm wide by 14mm thick, the 316L case is stout, with a solid wrist presence.
