Mara Diver

Translating a beloved design language into the rugged format of a dive watch is no small task. Yet Paulin, the Glasgow-based design-forward watchmaker, has done just that with the Mara—its first-ever dive watch and most technically ambitious release to date. Named after the Scots Gaelic word for “of the sea,” the Mara brings Paulin’s graphic clarity and bespoke type to a category where performance is non-negotiable. Designed and assembled in Glasgow, the Mara houses a Swiss-made La Joux Perret G101 automatic movement with an impressive 68-hour power reserve, a nod to both craftsmanship and longevity. Its 39.7mm stainless steel case draws inspiration from the brand’s Modul platform, reshaped here with added crown guards and water resistance to 30ATM (300 meters).
