Dried red berries and plenty of oak spice here. Full- to medium-bodied with a good balance of fruit and oak, a solid tannin framework and a long, savory finish. This is built to age, but is approachable even now Full bodied with complex blue and black fruit flavors, balanced by earthy nuances and spice notes. It has an intense aroma, characterised by notes of ripe plum, morello cherry and cherry. There are clear notes of liquorice, carob and black peppercorns.
