Nose: tobacco and oak notes on the front, followed by leather and red fruit. Taste: cherry, dried red fruit, and a slightly earthy finish. Balanced acidity, body, and dryness. Smooth, but personally would like a little more in the way of tannins. Pretty short finish, but it’s a pleasant, easy drinking glass.
