Slightly roasted aromas of black raspberry, licorice, and spices, plus a hint of dark chocolate. Boasts lovely sweetness and texture but a firm spine of acidity and a floral quality nicely lift the wine’s berry flavors. Finishes uncompromisingly dry, with firm but well-supported tannins and lingering hints of leather, curry powder, and saffron.
