Elderton Shiraz Command 2016

The newly released 2016 vintage of Elderton Command is another superb example of this iconic Barossa Shiraz. Blackberry fruit, aniseed and spices abound on the nose that carry through to a typically rich and generous palate that we've come to expect from Elderton's Command. The 2016 Elderton Command Shiraz is rich, warm and generous. Deep crimson in color, the wine exudes aromas of lifted black fruits with vanilla spice undertones. The palate is characterized by rich and attractive dark forest floor fruits with nuances of aniseed, supported by well-rounded tannins that provide structure, leading to a very long finish.
