A round, full palate is enlivened by tartaric kick before going quiet, while ripe berry, prune and cassis flavors finish flat and dense. Aromas of crushed cherries and plums, wild flowers, incense & spices. A voluptuous frame of pressed jam preserves exposes a meaty texture and polished,voluminous tannins, building to a fruit-packed crescendo laced with violet flowers, cocoa seed and coffee beans.
