Domain Eden Chardonnay Santa Cruz Mountains

  2021 was a beautiful vintage at the Mount Eden and Domaine Eden Estate vineyards, both high-elevation and dry farmed sites. This year’s bottling allowed Domain Eden to dominate in the blend with 74% while Mount Eden Estate fruit made up the balance. Early harvesting preserved the natural acidity through the 10 months aging sur-lie in French oak. The result is a precise and detailed Chardonnay with aromas of marzipan and lime zest leading into a balanced, citrusy palate with a lovely cardamom note.
