2020 Cameron Hughes 'Lot 851' Julienas Red
A stellar expression of Cru Beaujolais from unparalleled soils! Pouring a pale-to-medium purple, this wine is welcoming with a nose of red currant and sour cherry underpinned by notes of plum, violet, and potting soils. The entry is deftly balanced between medium+ acidity, fine, polished, and plentiful tannins, and terroir-driven tree bark with further notes of sour cherry and red currant. The finish is dry, persistent, and earth-focused, making for an incredible Old World presentation. Our inaugural bottle in this series comes to us from the highly acclaimed 2020 vintage, specifica
