Winemaker Notes The 2017 Chateau Montrose is a full-bodied, elegant, and structured wine with deep garnet-purple color. It features a powerful bouquet of blackcurrant, cassis, blueberry, and floral notes, underscored by earthy and spicy undertones of crushed rocks, dark chocolate, and cedar. The wine is characterized by its finely grained, tight texture, firm but supple tannins, and lively acidity, promising significant aging potential for a long, minerally finish.  About Winery Second growth classified in 1855.
