I was going to modify another sculpture by adding a Caspian Tern to it. I found that this tern is wonderfully goofy on its own. I started thinking what a Caspian Tern would bring to a potential mate as a gift. Fish was the only answer I could come up with, so this tern is offering a gift of fish to his girlfriend. I am sure the female Caspian Tern is not as goofy looking as the male.
