Description 6" Acrylic Tube for LED Lights ~ Model Smokies150 The Smokies150 series is a 5.90" diameter round acrylic LED diffuser lighting tube. An aluminum tube is used to mount LED strips inside and is held in place by the end caps. Our Smokies150 tubes are made of strong acrylic and are available in frosted white (opal). The tubes appear as a solid white when they are unlit, and take on the LED color when illuminated. This is particularly effective when combined with RGB or RGB pixel LED strip. These LED diffuser tubes are strong enough to be self-supporting, which allows for many imaginative installations such as a horizontally suspended tube light (from each end) or a vertical pendant light (from one end), as a floor standing column or pillar light, or simply as a wall-mounted fixture.
