Week 1 (7/7-7/11)

  Week 1 Computer Science: Code & Circuits  Imagine designing a piano using veggies or create a custom digital training program using aluminum foil. Now, envision playing video games using just your body, a bit of wire and your own imagination. Students engineer their own customized video game controllers using an electrical circuit board and materials that can be found in just about any kitchen. Students will receive fundamental training on Scratch with progress in connecting circuit board to everyday household items. Daily Schedule  9:00 - 10:30 AM – ELA Power Hour (Small Group Tutoring – 1:6)  10:30 - 12:00 PM – Math Masters (Small Group Tutoring – 1:6) 12:00 - 1:00 PM – Lunch Break  1:00 - 3:00 PM – Theme Time (Weekly STEM Activity) 3:00 - 6:00 PM –Afternoon Adventures: Games, Sports, & Creativity!
