Amethyst Sterling Silver Necklace - Amethyst Cabochon Pendant on Sterling Silver Chain

A smooth Amethyst cabochon has been bezel set in sterling and fine silver. The deep purple stone is framed by sterling silver circles. After forming and soldering the piece, I oxidized and polished the silver to create its antiqued patina finish. The Amethyst pendant is suspended from a Sterling Silver chain. The back of the necklace features a tiny Amethyst gemstone and a 3-inch extender which allows the chain to be worn any length from 18-21 inches.
