At 77℉/25℃, RH90%, it can absorb more than 30% of its weight in water vapor. Each bead is 3 – 5mm in size. Activated alumina which has excellent porosity creating tortuous paths and extended surface area can be used in both heated and pressure swing dryers. It has stable physical and chemical characteristics, even in high temperature and corrosive environments. Activated alumina has a wide variety of applications, including compressed air and gas drying.
